Worming the nannies, donkeys and dogs
Dane and I wormed princess, brownie, Dulce, horchata on Saturday April 21st. Still need to worm other nannies. Pepper and nutmeg are coughing. Also need to watch lil Connie, she has poopy but.
Also wormed the donkeys last Sunday April 15.
Wormed dogs using our ivermectin solution last Sunday April 15 too. We did 9 parts veg oil to 1part ivermectin. Then we dosed them at 1 ml per 100 lbs of dog. So zinc got 1ml, tuxedo got .5ml and bully got .3 ml. Kahlua didn't get any because she got an iverheart pill that month the week before.

Donkeys
Two new additions to Iron Heart: Lotus and Moon Rabbit. We adopted them from a very sweet lady who owns a refuge not too far away. It took 8 hours to get these two jennys loaded, trailered, and off-loaded yesterday. We were EXHAUSTED, but so excited to have them as part of our family now.
Donkeys in morn
This morning when I was leaving for work, I stopped next to the fence and called their names. They turned to me and began to walk toward me which says they recognize my voice, are feeling trusting of me and getting comfortable in their surroundings.

Big dish
Look what we scored today? We're going to use it to make a gazebo of some kind or better yet a roof for part of our earthship.

Grass stepdown
The grass we planted at the beginning of year finally came up evenly on step...thanks to all the rain lately!
Mars seedless grapes
This is one of a few vines that inlaws gave us a few years ago..it has died back thru drought, freeze etc..and she's still goin strong!
Grapevines
These are what's struggling to "come back" after Phoenix ate it..she ate it 5 minutes after I planted it. I had gone inside to get a drink and use restroom and I came back and lo and behold the newly planted grape vines were nubs .. no leaves just chewed off vines. Moral of the story: before planting ANYTHING in your yard, make sure the goat fence is secure. Thet are little stinkers!
