Bee stings july 5th

While trimming this Sago Palm, I cut a branch that, unbeknownst to me, had a very large wasps nest on it. They attacked and got 12 stings to the face and head. Needless to say the rest of the July 4th holiday weekend was not too much fun. My face swelled, eyes swelled shut and cheeks and forehead puffed out--I look like quasimodo! 4 days later I'm still swelled up and don't even look like myself. UUgghh! The itching is awful but atleast the bones in my face don't ache anymore.
Lesson learned: trim trees in the winter when bees are dormant.
