We built these troughs for the goats to eat sweet feed from. We designed them from a large pipe cut lengthwise, lumber and old roofing material. We hope that this trough will help to keep them healthier and lessen the worm manifestations in them! We had previously been feeding them in a trough made from metal that hangs on fence but because it was narrow and the goats crowd around it at feeding, it was very hard to get the food in the trough. So goats usually ate the feed off the ground.
